Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440Highlands, NJ, July 17th, 2017 — Resources Real Estate honored several sales associates for their outstanding accomplishments during the month of June. The company meeting took place on July 5th at Havana Tropical Café.

Sales Associate Tammy Brindise, who works in the Rumson office, was named Agent of the Month. This award is given to an agent in recognition of his or her sales success in the previous month including new listings, recent contracts and sold transactions, as well as past client recognition of their efforts, and other business-building activities. Tammy closed a total of five sales, three of them over a million dollars each, and her business for the month of June amounted to $4,761,700.

Tammy Brindise was recognized with two additional awards: Top Listing Agent, for having three new listings, including the $1,325,000 property at 68 Ridge Road in Rumson; and the Regency award, given to an agent with an exceptionally high volume of monthly sales.

“Tammy is a go-getter who never loses personal touch with her clients,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker. “She is a big part of our success in the first half of 2017.”

The Commercial Agent of the Month Award went to Christopher Ozar from the Atlantic Highlands office, for selling two 10-unit buildings in Hoboken totaling $7.4 million. This exceptional achievement brought Christopher an additional honor – the Significant Sale Award, given for a sale of a property above $2 million. Chris sold a total of three Hoboken properties: 308 Madison Street for $4.324 million, 301 Madison Street for $3.075 million, and 1125 Maxwell Lane for $2.775,000, totaling over $10 million in sales production.

Sales Associate Dennis Soboti, from the Monmouth Beach office, was presented with the Featured Luxury Agent award, which is an award given to a sales associate active in the luxury market with a residential listing above $1 million. Dennis, a member of Luxury Real Estate’s Board of Regents, holds the 15 Anderson Street property in Monmouth Beach, listed for $1.5 million.

The Rainmaker Award was given to Bradley Moore, from the Atlantic Highlands office. This is an honor bestowed on a sales associate for his or her effort to build their business in an innovative or otherwise significant way. Acting as a buyer’s agent, Brad creatively attracted the interest of a seller, convincing them to list and sell the property, thus successfully providing a property for his buyer.

Nance was able to close on a property despite inspection issues, past liens and other difficult challenges. Her perseverance truly helped her client to successfully close on the property.

Lastly, Lorien Kelly from the Red Bank office received the Team Spirit Award, given to a sales associate who extends him or herself to help colleagues and office staff. Lorien was recognized for assisting another agent who was having difficulties gaining access to a property.

“We are running out of superlatives to describe our terrific agents and support staff,” smiled Carolynn Ozar-Diakon. “They truly make us proud.”

“June for us was the culmination of the first half of what is turning out to be a very strong year,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker. “Besides expanding to cover the Hoboken and Jersey City markets, we have continued to grow our commercial division while maintaining our successful residential division. We look forward to a prolific second half of the year.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Ozar Group Joins Resources Real Estate

Monmouth County, NJ, April 21st, 2017 — Resources Real Estate, Monmouth County’s award-winning luxury real estate firm, announced that Christopher Ozar and the Ozar Group have joined the Resources Real Estate team.  Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440

The Ozar Group made a name for itself as a young, dynamic group, astutely utilizing digital and social media marketing to grow their business in the Hudson County area.  Last year alone, the Ozar Group delivered a total of $12 Million in real estate transactions.

The Ozar Group joining Resources Real Estate is truly a coming home story.  Chris Ozar’s mother, Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, founded Resources Real Estate back in 2000.  Chris received his license right out of high school in 2004 and then learned the ropes at the Resources’ Rumson office.  In 2012 Chris branched out from Rumson and created the Ozar Group, specializing in the Hoboken/Jersey City market.  Chris quickly became one the of youngest agents to be honored with the New Jersey Realtors® Circle of Excellence Award, as well as ranking in the top 100 of all Hudson County’s real estate agents in his first year.

“I’m excited to join the team and to be working with my mother again,” said Chris Ozar.  “My family started Resources Real Estate and I want to continue growing it.  Resources is already a dominant force in NJ, and I am thrilled to contribute with the Ozar Group’s digital marketing expertise and help further expand the firm.”

Under the Resources Real Estate banner, the Ozar Group will now operate two real estate teams: one in Hudson County and one in Monmouth County.  The Monmouth County group will be jointly managed by Chris Ozar with Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.

The Ozar Group’s geographic focus brings immense value to Resources Real Estate.  With many New Yorkers regularly moving west into NJ and many Hudson County residents attracted to the benefits of living in Monmouth County the Hudson-Monmouth connection is a powerful business advantage for Resources Real Estate.

“I am so proud to be able to say that the Ozar Group has joined Resources here in Monmouth County,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon.  “Besides being my son, Chris, in his own right, is an award-winning agent, on track for the Platinum Circle of Excellence award for 2017.  His negotiation skills and marketing know-how are unmatched.  I believe that the best service comes through innovation and change, and Resources is known for both.”

“I am beyond delighted to welcome Chris back to Resources,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.  “We are honored to have such a top agent join our team, and it’s even better that he’s family.”

THE LOVE PARADE MARCHES ON…Resources Real Estate Launches #weloveREDBANK Social Campaign

Resources Real Estate specializes in selling and buying luxury homes, estates, mansion, waterfront, commercial properties, and beach rentals in Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey. 732-212-0440

Red Bank, NJ, March 23rd, 2017 — Resources Real Estate, Monmouth County’s esteemed luxury real estate firm, is continuing its demonstration of love for the county by launching the #weloveREDBANK campaign.  The online and social campaign will feature a Facebook community page named weloveRedBank, a website dedicated to the town (www.WeLoveRedBank.com), and the hashtag #weloveREDBANK, to be used for tagging photos and videos on social media channels.

Additionally, to express their adoration for Red Bank, the Resources Real Estate team is joining the Red Bank Wedding Walk, which will take place on March 26th.  The Red Bank Wedding Walk is a free, one-day event that promotes Red Bank as a prime destination for weddings.  The event introduces brides, grooms, partners, wedding attendants and their families to Red Bank as a one-stop shopping place for weddings, and will feature numerous local businesses that provide various wedding services.  Several grand prize packages will be raffled at the conclusion of the Wedding Walk.

“Red Bank has been a growing market for us, particularly for commercial real estate,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.  “Our office in Red Bank has been gaining commercial and residential property listings, as the area is flourishing, and we feel we grateful and wishing to pay it forward.”

Red Bank was named 3rd best small town in the United States by Smithsonian Magazine and repeatedly voted as the hippest town in New Jersey.  Its vibrant downtown area has been featuring year-round events, and though Red Bank’s commercial real estate is continuously growing, it maintains a small-town residential feel.   Superb waterfront condo developments like The Bluffs, Corinthian Cove and the waterfront co-op building Riverside Towers have popped up in recent years.  Townhouses and condos prices start in the $150,000s, and large waterfront homes go for over $1M, like the one bought by Jon Stewart on the Navesink River.

“We look forward to spreading the word of this wonderful town,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker.  “Knowing the area so well not only allows us to better serve our clients, but makes us want to toot the town’s horn and share the love.”

RESOURCES REAL ESTATE SHARES THE LOVE
Launches #weloveRUMSON Campaign
Resources Real Estate specializes in selling and buying luxury homes, estates, mansion, waterfront, commercial properties, and beach rentals in Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey. 732-212-0440

RUMSON, NJ, Feb. 27, 2017 — Resources Real Estate may be known for its award-winning luxury marketing and exceptional homes, but now it wants to be known for something else.

“We’re all about the love,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker. “Part of what makes our job so enjoyable is that we truly love where we are, which makes us happy to sell and rent property where we are, and we’ve come to a point where we want to spread the love.”

To demonstrate the company’s deep affection for their market area, the Resources team has launched the first installment of a campaign to not only show the love but also encourage others to share it. Resources Real Estate recently launched a Facebook community page named weloveRUMSON, as well as a website (www.weloveRUMSON.com) and is encouraging people to tag photos in social media with the hashtag #weloveRUMSON whenever they are out and about and having fun in Rumson.

“Rumson is a terrific town and our goal is to encourage residents to celebrate it,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker. “We urge local businesses to participate and promote their brands, invite charitable organizations to tout their achievements, and hope residents will join in the celebration. We fully expect that many will begin to use the hashtag at the upcoming Rumson St.Patrick’s Day Parade.”

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a big deal in Rumson. This year the town’s 5th annual celebration of all things Irish (http://rumsonstpatricksdayparade.org) will take place on March 12, 2017. Last year’s parade had more than 15 bands, floats, active military & veterans’ groups, Irish Step Dancers, scouting organizations, non-profit clubs, novelty acts, local business, civic groups, and antique cars. Additionally, the event organized several fundraisers with Irish music and food and raised more than $25,000 for local charities.

The Resources team is excited to participate in this year’s parade — look for their boat in the parade— as well as celebrate with a party in the company Rumson’s office. Resources Real Estate will even create their own Snapchat geo filter which will allow parade attendees to more easily tag their photos with the #weloveRUMSON hashtag.

“We are a hyperlocal boutique real estate agency and our brokers know the area like no other,” said McCormack. “It feels right for us to celebrate a town that not only houses one of our main offices, but also serves as a home to many on our team.”

The company announced it will be celebrating other area towns throughout 2017.

The Resources 2016 4th Quarter Market Report is Here!

Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440It may seem unfair but frequently we view the last quarter of each year less as an important sales period unto itself and moreso as a wrap-up for the year or sometimes even a harbinger of the Spring market. Anyone who has followed real estate trends in our market understands that the notion of “Spring market” has little or no relationship to the actual date of the vernal equinox a/k/a the first day of Spring (which this year falls on March 20th). Spring Market is simply shorthand for whenever the market shakes off its post-holiday, cold weather doldrums and shows signs of life. Many factors influence when and how dramatic the sales activity will manifest including weather, interest rates, consumer confidence, jobs and the general economy. The Resources Real Estate 2016 4th Quarter Market Report!

Of course, this past year’s last quarter played out in unique fashion due to the drama and suspense of the presidential election which, despite providing some relief by virtue of it simply being over, brings a continued sense of uncertainty in the new year as the new administration begins to take shape and take power.

That said, 2016 single-family residential sales in Monmouth County showed a substantial increase of 16.2% over the previous
year. As this follows on the great market improvement of 2015 (which was the highest year for NJ residential sales since 2005), it says a lot about the state of our local real estate markets.

While inventories were down, something which might and did embolden many home sellers to increase their asking prices, the homeowners that were ultimately successful in finding a buyer showed an overall 2.8% decrease in average sales price.

On a hyperlocal level, 2016 played out very differently depending on location. While many towns in our survey, including Atlantic Highlands, Long Branch, Rumson and Oceanport, showed dramatic sales increases ranging from 25-49%, others such as Fair Haven (long the leader of Monmouth County residential sales pacing) showed a significant downturn (over 24% fewer than 2015). Perhaps more than ever, it pays to be an educated consumer as past rates of sales, current inventories, and average changes in sales prices will be important factors for both sellers and buyers. Of course, your best ally in this transaction is a trained professional who knows your market, the inventory and the changing trends which impact sales in your segment of the market.

We hope you enjoy our current market report. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions specific to your market or clarification on any of the report data.
